Blue Moleskine Part 1

All of these drawings come from a blue landscape Moleskine that I've had since the beginning of last year. I found it to be one of my favorite sketchbooks. Most of the stuff in here is done on my own time and is in no way related to school. One day I want to go out and buy another landscape style sketchbook since they are so fun.

Black Moleskine Pages

Several more sketchbook pages from one of my Moleskines. I've been holding off on scanning a lot of this stuff so now that i've finally found the time it's all coming in a few big waves. Enjoy. 

Assorted Sketchbook Images

These images come from a black Moleskine that I started last year during my Cornish College 'foundations' class. The main motive in this sketchbook is to experiment -- not worry to much about finished, delicate or overly cherished images. It's been fun playing around with color and different mediums, I encourage anyone reading this to seriously play around with material and let loose any preconceptions you have about your art. 

Abstracted Shapes

Below are a few variations from a school project I did last year. The original image (which you can find further back in my blog) resembled nothing of these pictures, yet through the magic of photoshop we create two completely new compositions.

I enjoyed the first picture so much I printed it out in poster format roughly 12x36 and now have it hanging on my wall. Sometimes you'll be surprised what you can create when you take an original idea and spin it in a new direction.
