Inspired by the art of Mike Mignola, the creator and artist behind the comic book Hellboy. I found it really interesting and challenging to use only white and thick black shadows to communicate a form. These drawings really tested my understanding of the face and how shadows play off of different geometric shapes. Negative space is pretty damn powerful.
